Inter Komunika: Jurnal Komunikasi is a journal that publishes articles focus on communication studies.

The scope related to Inter Komunika: Jurnal Komunikasi are:

1. Public relations. Communication that engages strategic message to build image and reputation.
2. Marketing communications. Communication that employs message in the marketing activity
3. Advertising. Communication that attaches promoting value, product, service and creative idea in public
4. Broadcasting. Distribution of audio or video message via any electronic mass communication medium.
5. Business communication. The exchange of information and message in the context of business and to achieve company goal.
6. Organizational communication. Communication that occurs within an organization in order to manage and complete a particular objective.
7. Political communication. The exchange of ideas and opinions between political actor related to power, policy and government
8. Digital communication. Communication that involves transferring message digital technologies.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript will be evaluated by the chief editor and will be sent to section editor through Initial Review Processes. Then, the manuscript will be reviewed by two reviewers employing Double-Blind Peer Review Process. Manuscripts will be returned to the authors to revise both substantial and technical aspects. The process of review takes 3 months for maximum time.

The response of the reviewers will be the basis for the Editor to conclude:

  1. Accept Submission
  2. Revisions Required
  3. Resubmit for review
  4. Resubmit elsewhere
  5. Decline Submission.

An article was rejected for publication due to various considerations, including:

  1. The article does not fit the scope of journal
  2. The article does not follow the rules of writing scientific papers or author guidelines
  3. The fundamental methodological errors
  4. The author refuses to make suggestions of improvements provided by the reviewer without a logical basis
  5. There are indications of plagiarism of more than 20%.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
